This kit only lifts the suspension by 20mm, but it increases load carrying capacity by 440lbs. The front torsion bars are a slightly more progressive rate and are designed to carry an additional 110 lbs (think of adding our stainless skid plates and a decent winch to your truck). You'll easily clear 33 inch tires with this and 35's if you run our basic body lift
Available in five different configurations to get the most out of your vehicle on and off road. ADD is the only place to offer an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear axle after a lift, this not only ensures your truck drives straight, wears tires less and, handles better at highway speeds; it also means you've got a hardcore rear link that is often bashed and abused on the trail. If you come down hard on a rock with the stock bar you'll end up with your panhard bent and the axle shifted to the passenger side, and that makes for an interesting drive home! Our panhard bars are beefy. If the DOM adjustable bar isn't enough, grab our aircraft grade 7075 bar with chromoly end links.

OME Torsion Bars (+50 lbs) Part Number: Please submit the overall length of your current torsion bars to ensure you receive the correct bars for your kit. There are two listed for these trucks but we've seen up to three different bars on the Montero chassis. Measure from the forward most end of the torsion bar key (mounted to the lower control arm), to the rearmost part of the torsion bar adjusting arm (mounted in the cross member midway back on the vehicle).

(be aware, if you're buying for a gen 1, you'll need to transfer the t-bars from your old front shocks over to the new bilsteins, it's covered on our forum and outlined in the front shock product listing here .)
